Jerusalem Children and Community Development Organization (JeCCDO) was established in 1985 as an indigenous, non-governmental, humanitarian organization in response to the needs of children who were left orphaned, displaced or lacked proper care and support due to civil war and drought.
JeCCDO is now reregistered as Ethiopian resident charity and operates in different parts of the nation with the aim of promoting the wellbeing of children.
In its a quarter century journey through the development process, JeCCDO reaches about 850,000 beneficiaries directly or indirectly in a year time. Even so, it works for a wider coverage. For further information about JeCCDO's history
